Terms and Conditions of Registration and Attendance

Scrapbook Village, Inc (SBV) and its associated businesses, contractors and employees provide services to you subject to the following terms. By registering for and event hosted by SBV, you accept these conditions and terms. Please read them carefully.

Disclaimer: Scrapbook Village, Inc has made every reasonable effort to make sure that the content of our web information and any advertising or printed information is correct and true. All content is provided on and "as is" and "as available" basis. In no event shall SBV or associates be liable for any special, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website, transactions provided on the website, downloads from the website, or inability to use our services. Nor shall SBV or associates be liable for any delays of such information or service, including non-receipt of any registration for event or classes. It is your, the participant's/registrant's responsibility to follow up for receipt of such services after a reasonable amount of time has passed without confirmation from SBV, Inc. Any information contained on the website or printed materials and advertising is subject to change without notice and Scrapbook Village, Inc may change/modify this agreement at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately as soon as they're place on the website. When you register for any services offered by Scrapbook Village, Inc electronically, you also consent to receive communications from SBV, Inc electronically. You and SBV, Inc. agree that all agreements, notices and disclosures or other communications sent electronically satisfy any legal requirement that said communications be in writing.

Cancellation Policy: SBV, Inc realizes that the need for cancellations may arise. However, a significant amount of planning and costs are required to organize our events necessitating the need for this policy. For any cancellations made from date of registration up to 15 days prior to event start date, a processing fee $10.00 will be deducted from any refund balance amount owed to you. For any cancellation made 8-14 days prior to event start date, a processing fee of $25 will be deducted from any refund balance amount due to you. If you should cancel 7 days prior to event, a processing fee of $50 and ALL meal package costs will be deducted from any refund balance due to you. If you do not show up at the event without prior notice to SBV, Inc, no monies shall be refunded to you.

Hotel Cancellations: While SBV, Inc secures a block of rooms available for attendees to the event, it is the responsibility of the attendee/registrant to arrange accommodations at such facility/hotel. If the need arises for such registrant to cancel attendance at the SBV event, that registrant is also responsible for canceling any hotel accommodations as well, subject to said hotel/facility's cancellation policy.

Class Cancellations: Class cancellations and changes can be made 14 days prior to event start date, not class date, without penalty. Should cancellations/changes be made after this time by the registrant, the cost of materials for the class will be deducted from any balance due to you. This amount will vary depending on classes selected. SBV, Inc has the right to cancel classes based on decreased enrollment and teacher availability with full balance refunded to the registrant.

Returned Check Fees: There will be a $25.00 penalty fee added to your account balance for any checks returned for Insufficient Funds.
