- National Scrapbook Day
Celebration
Thank You to all who
attended our NSD Celebration on April 27th at Rachel’s Lakeside, it was a
smaller crowd, but just as much fun, we had great food and snacks homemade by
Lisa & her Mom! Our free raffle prizes were a Rolling Tote, MM Jewelry box
& a FREE Seat at out 5th Breast Cancer Crop in October!! We also had a
great time with the scavenger hunt. It’s amazing what we can find in out
bags when we look!! 3 Winners for that contest!

successful year, we raised $1,250.00 and climbing!
Thank you to all who
attended and participated in our fundraising efforts, we couldn’t have
done it without you. We had a FUN day of scrapbooking, shopping, great food,

- Highlights 2008 SBV Scrapbook and Spa Weekend
SBV hosted its 2nd weekend crop on March 7 to 9th, 2008 at the
Radisson Hotel in Plymouth, MA. We had 70 in attendance. It was a BLAST! We had
so much fun that we have already booked for next year. Save the date:
March 6 to 8th, 2009!
The weekend was full with scrappers on
a mission to complete lots of page, lots of laughter, making new friends,
sharing ideas, great food and accommodations, lots of Raffles, PJ contest, Page
contest, Spa Treatments by Pampered Mermaid included chair massages, hand
massages and manicures. We had a bit of excitement on Saturday when all of the
Plymouth waterfront lost electricity, our scrapbookers were very resourceful
and found lots of ways to continue scrapbooking with pen flashlights handed out
by the Radisson! Luckily it only lasted an hour and we continued on our 24 hour
scrapbooking mission!
Scrap Happy
Scrapbook Store from Somerset, MA joined us for the weekend, and everyone
enjoyed shopping until wee hours of the morning. Kristen and her staff worked
hard all weekend trying to keep new products out on the shelf. We offered a
journaling station, sewing station, capabilities to print pictures, borrowing
station for tools, templates QuicKutz and a Sizzix die cut area. Lisa also had
sweatshirts, hats, children's clothing and travel scrapbook mugs for sale!
Look at some of the pictures from the weekend and read what the guests
had to say! Hope you join us next year for the 3rd Spa & Scrapbook weekend,
we are sure to fill up fast! Registration is open now; a $50.00 deposit will
hold your seat. Balance will be due by January 2009.
