 National Scrapbook Day Celebration

CELEBRATION! Scrapbookers all around the world will be celebrating National
Scrapbook Day. This day will be full of surprises, games, contests and as usual
you will spend the day with friends sharing ideas, laughs and great food.
Our theme this year is Patriotic! Let support our troops! Wear anything
Patriotic or decorate your table in a patriot theme and you will be entered
into a special raffle to win a special prize! We will be making cards for our
troops and donating them to Cards for Heros.org
Your $70.00 fee
includes; lunch, dinner, coffee and surprise snacks, free goody from our
treasure chest and lots of games & contests and of course
massages!

now to save your spot, a $25.00 deposit will hold your seat and the balance
is due by April 10th.

weekend that means 24 hours of scrapbooking from Friday At 9 AM until

Crop a Success!
Thank you to all who attended our 5th Breast
Cancer Awareness Crop. We reached our goal of $10,000+ for the past 5 years.
Our total collected was $2,709.00 which makes the total for 5 years $10,194.00.
 I want to thank everyone who attended,
donated, baked & cropped. All the vendors who attended: The Crop Shop,
Kountry Kollectibles, Touchstone Crystals, Arbonne, Siplada, Simply Fun &
Beijo Pocketbooks. I appreciate your time to set up, your donations and
spending the day with us. This money could not have been raised without the
help of all of you, your generosity and kindness makes this a most memorable
crop.

- Highlights 2008 SBV Scrapbook and Spa Weekend
SBV hosted its 2nd weekend crop on March 7 to 9th, 2008 at the
Radisson Hotel in Plymouth, MA. We had 70 in attendance. It was a BLAST! We had
so much fun that we have already booked for next year. Save the date:
March 6 to 8th, 2009!
The weekend was full with scrappers on
a mission to complete lots of page, lots of laughter, making new friends,
sharing ideas, great food and accommodations, lots of Raffles, PJ contest, Page
contest, Spa Treatments by Pampered Mermaid included chair massages, hand
massages and manicures. We had a bit of excitement on Saturday when all of the
Plymouth waterfront lost electricity, our scrapbookers were very resourceful
and found lots of ways to continue scrapbooking with pen flashlights handed out
by the Radisson! Luckily it only lasted an hour and we continued on our 24 hour
scrapbooking mission!
Scrap Happy
Scrapbook Store from Somerset, MA joined us for the weekend, and everyone
enjoyed shopping until wee hours of the morning. Kristen and her staff worked
hard all weekend trying to keep new products out on the shelf. We offered a
journaling station, sewing station, capabilities to print pictures, borrowing
station for tools, templates QuicKutz and a Sizzix die cut area. Lisa also had
sweatshirts, hats, children's clothing and travel scrapbook mugs for sale!
Look at some of the pictures from the weekend and read what the guests
had to say! Hope you join us next year for the 3rd Spa & Scrapbook weekend,
we are sure to fill up fast! Registration is open now; a $50.00 deposit will
hold your seat. Balance will be due by January 2009.
